Viking Costumes Men
Where can I get images of authentic Viking costumes & also Sharpe rifle uniform?
I need to make some authentic costumes from scratch for next year of viking attire for children, women & men. I need to make all manner of costume from basic to elaborate as well as accessories & need some good pictures, images or diagrams. Also need similar details of the rifles uniform worn by Sharpe & his men. Thanks for reading & I hope some of you can offer me a few ideas or contacts please.
I take it you mean Sharpe during the Peninsula War, when he was in the 95th Rifles.
In the books before the Peninsula War, when he was in India, he was a Red Coat.
The 95th Rifles became a part of the Green Jackets.

Vikings basically wore the same kind of clothes as Anglo-Saxons. The first rule to remember about Vikings is NO HORNED HELMETS!
They wore several different types of helmets, one type was similar to the ones often associated with Normans, which had a nose guard, others were more elaborate and also had protection around the eyes, but only the higher standing vikings would have had these.
