Film Costume Design Internships

What would be good practice for me?
It requires that older people in my school have internships. The thing is I have to learn * Something * over them. My interests are: music, movies, sewing, costume design, acting, computers and video games. I do not need a exact location, but what kind of practices would be good for this? I am over 16 years, of course.
You probably would be a candidate ideal to help with local television news. Try calling around to stations and ask if they have practice managers. The practice manager should be able tell you more about what the season has to offer. It started as an intern that will be a Production Assistant, which basically means you'll be a lackey but it could be a very good experience for you. Or try your local PBS affiliate. They are always looking for volunteers to help with the production of local content.
