Summer Costume Design Internships
How can i get a job or internship as a wardrobe/costume assistant for the summer?
I live in new york city, it shouldn’t be this hard!!! I’d love to do tv or movies, but even theater would be fine. I’m an apparel design major with experience in costume from my high school plays but I really want to get professional experience to see if costuming is what i want to specialize in.
You should ask if you’re able to do some job shadowing, or ask some theatres if you’re able to do some informational interviews, and that would be the best to be able to determine whether you’re able to handle this field or not.
