What’s an innovative/humorous couples Halloween costume?
So my husband and I have a Halloween party to go to. I need some help with ideas for a humorous couples costume. We don’t want to do anything raunchy or sexual. This is what we’ve been in the past in case anyone else wants some ideas:
Construction workers
Bride and Groom
Pair of Dice
Lady Liberty and a Border Patrolman (I wore a sign saying not accepting applications)
50s teeny boppers
Zombies
Judges that were electioneering
These are the ideas that I’ve found the most innovative so far, so you have an idea of what I’m looking for:
Me, a pumpkin – Him a sweatshirt that says peter (Husband thought that was too overtly sexual)
Each of us dress up like 2 quarters and wear hip-hop type clothing – we’d be 50 cent
Jogging outfit and a burger hat – fast food
Me a bee, him black sweatpants and sweatshirt with a bunch of letters glued on – spelling bee
Peter pan and wendy
PLEASE HELP ME! I’m not in love with any of these ideas.
Have you considered sports? Bat and ball. What about tools. Hammer and nail. Screw and driver. Nut and wrench. What about vehicles? Car and gasoline. Sun and solar cell. What about history? War and peace. King and queen. Author and book. Pen and paper. What about chemistry? Sodium and chloride make table salt, NaCl. What about colors? Yellow and blue make green. Red and yellow make orange. Red and white make pink. What about agriculture. You could be a team of horses. You could be an ox and a plow. You could be dirt and rain. What about hunting? You could be a bow and arrow? Consider a predator and prey scheme. One could be a wolf and the other a sheep or rabbit. What about computers? One could be a mouse and the other a keyboard or monitor. One could be the RAM and the other could be the ALU or CPU. What about toys? One could be some toy while the other is the batteries.
Good luck! There are also comedy combinations. Abbot and Costello, Larell and Hardy. A trapeze act usually requires two people. What about fishing? Hook and lure? Fish and fisherman?
