Period Costume Patterns
Does anyone know where to get 18 or 19 century patterns of cloth pad?
I guess it must be a woman living history, for brave I searched the Internet are emerging with nothing. I want to be able to use the correct underwear century costumes with my 18 and 19 no matter what time of month it is. It know that women had Clout cloth or pads that somehow pinned or tied at the waist of her drawers for use during their periods, but does anyone know where find patterns or detailed instructions on how to do now? Or even detailed images of the existing brands that employers could be extrapolated? Modern Patterns fabric cushion with pins, buttons or velcro just are not built every reason to use separate legs with drawers unfortunately …
