Pearl Necklace Costume Jewellery

My husband and i sell sterling silver, pearls and gemstone necklaces, earrings and bracelets at street fairs?

There are so many jewelry vendors, though generally most are costume type. we get lots of compliments on our displays and
also on the pieces we sell. Our prices are very, very reasonable, and sell nothing more than 40 dollars because we only mark up about 20- 30 percent. We get fewer buyers than the fashion jewelry which also have much larger inventory. Any ideas on unique items to add to our jewelry, so we will have less competition? We are ruling out purses, handbags, gloves, hats, sweatshirts since there are many such vendors. Thanks so much.

Have you also considered doing special events? Such as parties or displaying in a niche event? The spas in my area often hold open houses to attract business & have a few vendors sell their goods at the same time (or even they have a few items for display at the spa desk); also I organize a spa party for 15 friends every year & its an all day event and I have vendors also come & sell goods at the party in between the home spa treatments. Sounds like your stuff would be a big hit based upon price & description. Can you have a friend host a “jewelry party”? Especially now around the holidays–they could make it a potluck & have fun & maybe even have another vendor like Party Lite come or something…creative.
