Quickbooks vs. Peachtree?
I newly opened my own business back in December of 2009. My business is an online jewelry company selling designer and celebrity inspired costume jewelry. I need a program that can keep track of my expenses. I would like to see when I reach a profit point. A program that retrieves all orders as they are placed through my website would be helpful. I do have experience with computers but I would like something that is fairly simple to use. I have in the past been stuck on buying Quickbooks for my business but lately have been reading negative reviews on the product. I have no employees as my company is registered as a sole proprietor. Please if someone can give me knowledgable feedback on which accounting software would be easier I would greatly appreciate it. If you need more information from me to better compare the two, I have no problem doing so.
I would recommend QuickBooks for several reason. Owning a huge share of the market, QuickBooks is the most user friendly and effective program for what you may be looking at. The benefit of being able to grow your business with the program is a great benefit. Since QuickBooks owns such a large share of the small business accounting software market specialized support is very easy to find compared to other products, QuickBooks ProAdvisors are great resources to assist you in anything from implementation, set up and or training amongst other things.
