Halloween Costume Lightsaber

Technology + Halloween costume?
There's a guy who wants to impress. It's a very DIY, technological nature of man. So I thought I'd make a Halloween costume involves some form of technology. I had thought of making a dress out of LED strings, but it was too difficult to handle. Make a lightsaber using a ladder-shaped LED tedious forms. I need ideas and a little less than a month to make the costume. Please HELP! Oh, and do not have to involve LED, I like any technology that is flashy and looks very impressive. Does NOT have to involve the LEDs. Have to look AWESOME.
Hey, check out the music video for this band called Muse: Undisclosed Desires on youtube … There is a girl dancing in this video, the dress looks great. And as you can see, at the beginning of the video, front man, a cable in his shoes … maybe I could do something like that …. have her dress as "connected" to your shoes or sometihng … and use as cables for the dress: / would have to be skilled in making clothes I: S here is the link for the video of Muse … Seriously, I think it looks very well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8OOWcsFj0U&ob=av2e O: only one thing to dress like a bit …. robot that would be great. But something amazing, geez i do not know … perhaps as something nice black dress that had the lights (LED) that will activate to indicate that a skeleton in her dress. Make a dress thread …. I really do not know I look cool ….. good luck, however.
