Fairy Tale Character Costume Ideas
we’re havin our staff party. the theme is hat creativity and each of us given was given 1 straw hat to create?
i need some creative ideas what we can do with the straw hats.
The judges with decide based on “ the HAT and YOU” not an impersonation of a character. Movie characters , fairy tales characters etc, will not earn you points. It Must be our own creativity.
80% of points will go to creativity towards the hat.
20% overall in relation to your attire. BUT THIS IS NOT A COSTUME PARTY
Please throw some ideas..if can with some photos and website link pls 
If it were me, I would use the hat to show all of the experiences I have had in my life.
What do you do? Get a hot glue gun and go for it!
Fish? Put on lures and a reel.
Cook? A spatula or wooden spoon and plastic food or a real party dip tray so they can eat off your hat.
Work on cars? A crescent wrench, sockets, and a car part.
Camping? Perch a lantern or compass and flint and steel up there somehow.
Computers? Old RAM chips and circuit boards.
Fashion? Fabric swatches and magazine photos of the most famous fashion trends.
Parenting? Drawings and Play-Dough things your kids made.
You get the idea.
What they really want is, “The many faces of me!”
We all have more than one thing.
Why not put pictures and objects in groups around the hat to display what you like. If there is a picture of you blowing glass, you hot-glue a hand-made work of your art (or three) next to it.
It may not be a ‘costume contest’, but the judges will have you win if fish, cook, and sing and you wear chest waders and an apron, and carry a microphone.
You can also have your attire be totally stuffy-business-like, yet allow your ‘hat’ to show the many ‘hats’ you have worn in your life.
After all, that’s the big point! We all wear different ‘hats’ at different times.
