Dance Costume Fabric
Can anybody help me who can Sew?
I have some proper leotard fabric and i need to add sleves onto my costume, Does anybody know if when im sewing the seams do i need a special elastic thread or something? Or will normal work?
(i will be dancing in it so it needs to hold)
You’ll need to use a stretchy stitch — I’d probably use a three thread overlock, but there are also stretch stitches on most sewing machines — the most basic is a plain zigzag.
