Costume Measurement Chart
Halloween costume size question?
I want to buy a halloween costume online but I am having trouble with the sizing chart. My measurements are 44, 43, 44 (Yes I am a thick girl lol) So I was going to get a plus size 1x/2x and the size chart says it fits:
bust 40-48
waist 36-40
hips 42-48
So it would all fit except the waist part is a little too small, but if I wanted to get the next size up the measurements are:
bust 48-54
waist 40-44
hips 50-56
So the only part that would fit would be the waist and the rest would be too big. What should I do? What size would you reccommend?

Most costumes have a little bit of give so I would think you would be alright with the 1x. The advantage of going bigger is you can always have it taken in if you need to. Going the opposite way would sure be harder.
Why don’t you post a link so people can see the fabric and cut of the costume for you?
