Costume Express Kids
Do you ever throw caution to the wind & let your kids wear something different?
Ok, so I only let them do this once in a while but I see no harm in it. We went to Wal-Mart last night & my son wants to wear his cowboy boots, cowboy hat, big belt buckle, the works. In turn my 2 year old daughter wanted to wear her costume jewelry, fancy dress, tiara & feather boa. Haha it was pretty cute. Anyhow I get to the store & most people smiled & said they looked cute. One lady just stared, then gave me a dirty look like I was a bad mom for taking my kids out like that! Jeez, was it really so bad? I’m all for letting them express themselves a little & they were so excited. Am I the only one who has done this?
Thanks guys I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t a nut for letting them dress up!! 
Oh & Pat Wal-Mart is all we have here, I have no choice but to shop there!
Oh my goodness. You are such a horrible mom for supporting your child’s creative nature. LOL. I think this is sooooooo cute. I love to see kids dressed up and parents who celebrate their imaginations! I say screw the lady she probably was constipated and wanted to smile. As long as they are dressed warm underneath who really cares. Is it going to hurt anything? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I have a little girl who is almost 2 and I cant wait for the day she decides she is going out in her costume jewelry and feather boa. I may wear sunglasses and a boa too (depending on where we are headed) just for fun, we can act “Hollywood” as they say. Have fun with your kids. They don’t stay young long!
